An Unlikely Alliance

Towards the end of the age of Assembly, when the world was still young and malleable, the gods were in a constant state of discord. They scrabbled for power and influence, each trying to leave their unique mark on the newly assembled world. Among them were Chronysia, the goddess of time, and Dagraxos, the god of betrayal.

Chronysia was conceived as a neutral force, her dominion over time making her a crucial player in the cosmic balance. While the other gods fought, she quietly maintained the flow of time, weaving it into the tapestry of existence. Dagraxos, on the other hand, reveled in the chaos and deception, turning the gods against one another with his cunning whispers and falsehoods.

Until the world faced a terrible catastrophe, a rift in the very fabric of time itself. This rift, caused by the constant bickering and fighting of the gods, threatened to unravel existence as they knew it. Chronysia, knowing that she could not mend the rift alone, set out to find an ally among the gods. Most of them scoffed at the idea, too consumed with their own battles and schemes to pay heed to her warnings.

Desperate, Chronysia turned at last to Dagraxos, the most unlikely of allies. The god of betrayal was intrigued by her proposal, seeing an opportunity to manipulate the situation to his advantage. He agreed to help Chronysia, but only if she would grant him a single favor in the future, with no questions asked. Chronysia, understanding the gravity of the situation, reluctantly agreed.

Together, they embarked on a dangerous journey to the heart of the time rift. Along the way, they faced countless trials and tribulations. To their surprise, they discovered that they complemented each other well, with Chronysia's mastery of time allowing them to navigate the twisted passages of the rift, while Dagraxos' cunning and deception helped them outwit the many guardians of time they encountered.

Through their trials, Chronysia learned that Dagraxos, despite his reputation, was not entirely heartless. Beneath his treacherous exterior, there was a desire to preserve the world and its intricate web of deceptions. It was this revelation that allowed Chronysia to see past his sinister façade and understand the role he played in the grand scheme of things.

As they reached the heart of the rift, Chronysia and Dagraxos worked together to weave a complex spell, mending the fabric of time and preventing the world from being consumed by the void. In the aftermath, Chronysia thanked Dagraxos for his help and braced herself for the favor he would ask of her.

Dagraxos, moved by Chronysia's unwavering determination and the trust she had placed in him, chose to ask for something entirely unexpected. He requested that she always remember the bond they had forged during their journey and never judge him solely by his reputation. Chronysia, touched by this request, agreed and vowed to honor their alliance.

From that day forth, Chronysia and Dagraxos maintained a fragile but genuine alliance, their shared experience binding them together in a way that none could have anticipated. While the other gods continued to mistrust Dagraxos, Chronysia remained his steadfast ally, a reminder that even the god of betrayal could have a place in the delicate balance of existence.
